3 things I’ve learned about ministry:

These are just 3 that stuck out to me this week since being back in Gainesville, Georgia, I’m still learning more every day:)

1) It’s disorganized.

It’s messy, hectic and sometimes chaotic BUT it’s beautiful. A lot of times I have this picture in my head of a perfectly picked person with and amazing desire to known the Lord and someone comes in with a perfect speech to bring them back to Christ. That is definitely not the true picture, not all the time at least. Ministry is going head on into the mess and the chaos of the world to reach those who can’t find a way out.

God works in the disorganized moments.

2) “Hurry up an wait”

Curtesy of the World Race, this is a universal statement used especially overseas. My amazing team leader reminds us of this often because it’s key to being ready for any kind of ministry at hand. We are early or on time so that we can be ready at the desired time to do ministry or any designated thing. It also gives respect to those we are partnering with, time is precious. Hurry to be where you need to be so that you can wait for instructions for the next step.

There’s room in the waiting

3) God loves ordinary moments

God will work in any moment, but He loves when we just to do it in our daily walk. When we share the day we walk through He gets to show us what the power of His love can do.  On a flip side, the Lord can teach us more when we are willing to just listen to those who share with us.

Sometimes God wants to minister to you.

I love these little but big lessons I’m learning and learned so far! Our God is such a good father and teacher!!

Thank you for continuing to follow my journey, I am more and more excited each day for what God has planned.

Always keep a smile:)

  1. All of these little things are so so so good!!

“There’s room in the waiting.” That speaks VOLUMES!!

Keep pushing to learn more and more! :):)

  2. What amazing lessons!. To truly be “comfortable” with them in our lives positions us to be available to be used by the God. Powerful words! Thanks for sharing Kayci!
