What’s Next?

Well it’s been about 2 weeks since I came home from the Race. In these weeks I have been helping my family pack and prepare as we sell our house in North Carolina and moving to Georgia!! It’s so crazy I have yet to share what I am doing starting this upcoming fall..

I will be starting in August at a missional living, leadership and discipleship program called CGA!!

Adventures in Missions: Center for Global Action centers on taking the training and biblical foundation built up through the Race, going deeper and using it wherever you go. 

I have a cool God story to go with this too!

Early this year my mom was given the opportunity for a new job based in Gainesville. Little did we know that God was going to have a big ask for my parents in the coming months. Soon my parents felt that God was calling them to move to Georgia. 

Close to finishing the training portion of my race at the end of 2020, we were introduced to different programs, schools, and other things that we could potentially do after the Race. CGA was one of those options. I immediately was intrigued by CGA, and definitely felt like that was the next season of growth I felt God calling me to. Knowing I was preparing for the next 5-6 months overseas I put it on the back burner. Till I started thinking about what I was going to do after the Race. After praying and asking the Lord if this was still the next step, I was hearing confirmation after confirmation that this was what I needed to work towards next.

During my Race I realized how much I was facing refinement, change and/or growth in some way, and I liked it. Even though it was hard and uncomfortable most of the time. I always knew that where I could be closest to God. In the unknown, trusting His still small voice.

Fasting forwarding to my last month in Costa Rica, I applied and was accepted!!

Guess what this means?? I moving to Gainesville, Georgia where CGA is located, which happens to also be where my family is moving!! 

I mean how cool is that?! God is so good, and He’s the greatest provider. I am so thankful to not only start this new season but walk along side my family as they step into a new one too.

 

With all this exciting news, I also need your help! The cost for this 6-month program is $6000, $2000 is the goal required to move into the group housing starting in August, please help me to continue partnering with what God is doing in not just our world but our community, churches, schools and more.
